Membership

1. Eligibility: Membership in the Eagle Vision Officials Association is open to adults who are either aspiring or established sports officials. This includes individuals actively engaged in officiating or those seeking to enter the field.

2. Membership Types:

  • Active Member: Completed application, signed all necessary policies, paid dues set by board. Eligible for all benefits association offers.
  • Associate Member: Completed application, paid dues (different from Active price), and signed policies. This is for the member who is not going to officiate but still wants to support the association. Eligible for board position, but not all benefits
  • Junior Member (anyone 21 and under): Completed application, signed all necessary policies, dues are eligible to be waived. Eligible for most benefits at the discretion of the board.

3. Membership Benefits:

  • Comprehensive Insurance Coverage: Members receive Accident and General Liability Insurance coverage, ensuring protection while performing officiating duties
  • Officiating Uniforms: The Association provides uniforms to its members, fostering a professional appearance and uniformity.
  • Access to Resources: Members have access to a variety of association resources, including but not limited to training programs, certification courses, and educational materials, all aimed at enhancing their skills and knowledge in sports officiating.
  • Support and Development: The Association commits to supporting its members in their officiating journey, providing opportunities for continuous learning and development to uphold the highest standards of officiating.

4. Membership Fees:

  • The Association charges a modest membership fee, which is essential for supporting the organization’s mission, particularly its youth-focused initiatives. The fee amount and any changes to it will be determined and approved by the Board of Directors.

5. Application and Approval Process:

  • Individuals interested in becoming members must submit a completed application form. The Board of Directors will review and approve applications, ensuring applicants meet the membership criteria.

6. Obligations and Expectations of Members:

  • Members are expected to actively engage in EVOA activities, uphold the Association’s standards and code of ethics, and contribute to the Association’s mission, especially in supporting youth in sports.

7. Renewal and Termination:

  • Membership is subject to annual renewal, based on the member’s adherence to Association standards and payment of annual dues. The Association reserves the right to terminate membership for non-compliance with its policies or standards.

Membership Fees

Active Full Membership ($125.00)

This price reflects the first-year initiation fee ($50) along with the annual membership price ($75). Eligible for all benefits association offers. (If pricing is an issue, please reach out to founder@eaglevisionofficials.org)

2.

Associate Membership ($50.00)

This is for the member who is not going to officiate but still wants to support the association. Eligible for board position, but not all benefits.

3.

Junior Membership (21 and Under) ($0.00)

Eligible for most benefits at the discretion of the board.
